Seoul to Jeju is the world’s busiest air route

OAG track to the world’s busiest air routes from March 2018 to February 2019 held a surprise, as the domestic South Korean trip from Seoul to Jeju Island was the busiest.

With 79,460 departures by seven carriers, the flight between the South Korean Capital Seoul and the top honeymoon destination for Koreans Jeju Island emerged as the world’s busiest air route.

The infographic showed that the second busiest route worldwide was from Melbourne to Sydney with nearly 148 daily flights and more than 54,000 departures.

One of the most favorite air routes in the United States, from Los Angeles to San Francisco, came in the ninth place with 35,365 departures.
