With nearly 3.4 billion people watching the Russia World Cup, almost half of the world’s 7.6 billion population, it is important to shed the light on the cities that would be affected the most in terms of productivity.

Simply, the infographic tests the cities that would suffer from an overlap between the World Cup matches in Russia and the normal working hours.

The one-month long World Cup will affect many employees around the world, assuming working days from Friday to Monday and working hours from 9 am to 6 pm.

For sure, the time zone will be the key reason behind the overlap, where 60 hours of World Cup matches will be played during the normal working hours in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

On the other hand, employees in Melbourne, Japan and large parts of Asia would be more comfortable as matches start at night.
